Carina was awarded the Gold Award in the global Voices of Future Generations (VOFG) competition for her inspiring story, “Legacy of the Macaw.” Her story, selected as one of the top 30 entries worldwide, will be published in the 2024 volume of *Futures*, an anthology that brings together visions of global sustainability from young authors. The anthology is a project of the Voices of Future Generations Children’s Rights Initiative, which celebrates youth contributions to sustainability and empowers young voices to be heard. As a Gold Award recipient, Carina’s story will be accessible globally, with a free PDF version available on the VOFG website and print copies offered on Amazon. This achievement not only highlights Carina’s talent but also underscores her passion for contributing to a sustainable and just future.
In addition to her global success, Carina has also made a mark in her local community.
