Room Parents

A room parent (also known as a class parent) facilitates communication between parents and the teacher, school administration, and parent organization (BPC), and supports the teacher in needs that may arise. In the case of the Gala, each room parent works with the class to prepare a student-sponsored themed basket for the Auction.

Barnesville families are encouraged to make at least ONE contribution to the annual Gala and Auction. This contribution can be a live or silent auction item, a teacher sponsorship, a business advertisement in the program, or a commemorative ad for your child.

We also welcome our community to support the School by underwriting some of the event’s expenses. Ask us how you can help!

Have you heard? You can purchase wine for the Barnesville Wine Cellar from anywhere you'd like or donate a bottle from your own collection!

Each year, Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences partners with the Barnesville Community to purchase wine bottles as donations to the Gala’s “Instant Wine Cellar.” This year we've added Chocolate too!

We encourage you to donate & purchase wines priced $25 or greater, and chocolate that pairs well with it.

You can choose one of your favorite wines to add to this year's Instant Wine Cellar for the auction at the Gala.
