Middle School

By Growing Writer, Carina Araujo (Student, 7th grade)
Middle School is the transition between Elementary School and High School. During Middle School you will have new responsibilities, new teachers, and new friends. You learn how to get from one class to another. You will learn how to be more organized and responsible for your belongings and work. It is very important that you know how to properly manage your time. It can sometimes be difficult to balance out homework with extra curriculum activities like clubs, competitions, or sports, but it is all worth it. Also, the subjects and workload can be harder but eventually you will get used to it.

You may have to transition from schools. When I left my old school, I was worried as I am not used to changes. But immediately my fears disappeared when I came to Barnesville. Everyone was so welcoming, smiling, and kind. I made so many new friends and learned so many new things. I even had a student ambassador to help me transition smoothly. It made such a difference to make my adjustment easier.

In conclusion, Middle School is so much fun. At first it may seem hard, but in time, it will feel like home. I love all the adventures I have and can’t wait for what else is to come.
