Barnesville Faculty and Staff Enjoy a Special Luncheon, Thanks to Lisa Fiedler and Karen & Dudley Dworken!
Kay'La Portee
This week, the Barnesville faculty and staff were treated to a delightful and heartwarming luncheon, courtesy of Lisa Fiedler, a dedicated parent alumna of the school, and made possible through the generous gift of appreciation from Karen & Dudley Dworken, Edi and CJ Herman’s Grandparents. Lisa, known not only for her culinary skills but also for her longstanding connection to the Barnesville community, prepared a delicious catered meal featuring griddled cheese sandwiches, savory tomato soup and an array of tasty pastries.
The lunch, thoughtfully gifted to the staff by Karen and Dudley Dworken, was a gesture of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the faculty and staff at Barnesville. Karen and Dudley have two grandchildren, Edi and CJ, currently attending Barnesville. The Dworken’s thoughtful gesture reflects their continued support of the Barnesville community and their gratitude for the impact the school has on their children’s lives.
Lisa, whose three children all attended Barnesville and have since gone on to pursue successful careers in the federal government, physical therapy, and acquisitions, felt right at home when returning to Barnesville with kind spirits. In addition to being a wonderful chef, Lisa’s connection to Barnesville runs deep, as she continues to stay involved with the school even after her children have graduated. Her generous offering was a reminder of the lasting bonds between alumni and the school!
The faculty and staff thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Lisa’s wonderfully made lunch made possible by the Dworken Family uplifted energies and quenched taste buds in a delightful way. Lisa Fiedler, Karen & Dudley Dworken’s thoughtful gesture reflects their continued support of the Barnesville community and their gratitude for the impact the school had on their children’s lives.
