Thank you to the Barnesville Community for showing up to celebrate student art and raise funds for Backpack Bites! Empty Bowls was a huge success, we raised over $5,203 for Backpack Bites! This will directly impact children in our local area experiencing food insecurity. We sold over 250 tickets and somehow did not run out of soup! This would not have been possible without our students who lovingly made the bowls. Thank you to Locals and Riverworks for this generous partnership. We loved the soup from Coops Soups, Locals, and Eman Salem! We thank all of our volunteers made up of teachers, parents, and students who showed up BIG TIME! Big shout out to our musical ensemble and Mr. Hayes for bringing the band together!
Our teaching encourages students to explore how subjects relate to one another, helping them to make connections that spark inquiry and deepen understanding.
