The scarlet stains
Sharp pains
Half and hour, horror of a death
 
Contagious
Devastating pestilence
Cessations
Death in accordance
 
Life in arrest
The terror of their silence
Cowardly prince, knights, and dames
Taking them to their grave
 
The Red Death
Caused all to fall
Horribly grotesque
Dominated over all
