Kay'La Portee
Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences was filled with excitement during the Annual Holiday Shop, a tradition that brings students, staff, and parent volunteers together to celebrate the spirit of giving. Parent volunteers, faculty, and staff were dedicated to transform the space into a festive marketplace, filled with gifts perfect for family and friends. Throughout the day, students overfilled with excitement as they explored the variety of gifts. From beautiful jewelry, furry friends, unique toys to novelty items, the shop had something for everyone. Faculty and parent volunteers were there to assist and offer guidance when needed. For many students, this event was an empowering experience, as they managed their own budgets and thoughtfully selected items the would be a perfect gift for their family and friends.
Teachers also embraced the festive energy, some helping students with gift selections while others simply enjoyed witnessing their students' excitement.
